Research summary
My research focuses on using molecular simulation to understand how soft materials behave under mechanical stress. During my PhD at Imperial College London, I studied polymer brush bilayers using coarse-grained non-equilibrium molecular dynamics simulations. The aim was to understand how factors such as chain architecture, chain length, grafting density, compression and sliding speed influence friction and lubrication.
