Women in High Performance Computing (WHPC) was created to promote, build and leverage a diverse and inclusive HPC workforce by enabling and energising those in the HPC community to increase the participation of women and highlight their contribution to the success of supercomputing. To ensure that women are treated fairly and have equal opportunities to succeed in their chosen HPC career and helping everyone to understand the benefits of promoting and achieving inclusivity.

The Thomas Young Centre and MMM Hub are Chapter members of WHPC, a community-level group that serves a specific area or organisation and fulfils the WHPC mission locally, to support women and the vision of WHPC in their communities.
